Special Olympics Nevada is looking for assistant coaches to help with training Special Olympics athletes here in the Las Vegas area. They train in a variety of events such as 25M Free, 50M Back, and 100M Medley just to name a few.
Practices will be March 25 thru June 3 at the Las Vegas Municipal Pool from 1pm to 3pm. There is a Regional and State competition with in the sports season. The Head Coach, Chris, will give you all the details needed.

Special Olympics Nevada offers free sports training and competition opportunities every day, throughout the year in fourteen different sports. Paid staff operate in one office and oversee 12 local area programs that are run by volunteers. Special Olympics Nevada's office is based in Las Vegas.
Description
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people eight years of age and older with intellectual disabilities. Our programs give our athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other athletes and the community.
