Help with legal council and if neccessary, act on the organization's behalf in legal and financial contexts. Our goal is to be compliant to tax law and federal/state regulations regarding non-profit activities. This volunteer will help set important guidelines for the youth sports club so that there is low risk of liability and proper governance with corporate leadership. Experience in risk management would be beneficial and prefered to ensure the safety of our participants and their families.

Austin Comets Athletics is a sports fraternity that provides mentorship for youth to develop their skills, health, and moral character for the purpose of becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.
Description
Austin Comets Athletics offers multiple year-round sports programs for boys and girls ages 8-18. We partner with our charitable organization, The Metro Mentorship Initiative,(EIN 27-4083907) a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity.
ACA serves as the official Athletic Department for grade school sports and ENROL Tech (H.S.). ACA participates in regional and national competitions for four sessions through the calendar year . We anticipate a full roster of youth for our 8U-18U (3 rd -12 th grade) club travel teams, classes, full-day and after school sports camps, and intramural leagues. ENROL Tech (H.S.), a member school of IHSA, features JV and Varsity teams that compete in the state’s regular sports season, playoffs, and championship competition. Our Prep and Post- Graduate sports programs compete in national tournaments.
Sports Offered: Basketball, Football, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball, Track & Field, Cheer & Dance, eSports/Gaming, Special Olympics (Future)
