Aldo Leopold Nature Center is looking for a committed and caring individual to assist our teaching staff with our Wonder Bugs preschool program for the spring season. This program is a nature-based program for 2-5 years olds and a parent/caregiver.
We are looking for 1 individual for each of the following times:
Tuesdays 9:00-11:45am
Wednesdays 9:00-11:45am
Thursdays 9:00-11:45am
Fridays 9:00-11:45am
*volunteers could work between one shift a week to 4 shifts a week, or any combination of the above times depending on availability and interest level.
For each session, this position would be responsible for assisting our teaching staff with set-up, during the program and clean-up. The program runs from 9:30-10:45 and has between 5-12 children each session.
Depending on the topic each week, this might look like, setting out books, preparing activity stations, prepping materials, distributing snack, bringing up the back of the line while outside, assisting an adult with their child, reading a book, etc.
