Purpose:
To provide weekly yoga sessions to military spouses at our Healthy Start Military Family Resource Center in Murphy Canyon.

Start Date-End Date:
Starting on a Tuesday, as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:
-Teach adults various yoga positions
-Monitor participants to ensure that they are performing yoga positions correctly
-Teach students proper breathing techniques
-Maintain a clean and organized environment
-Be- friendly, patient, polite and courteous with all staff and guests

Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must be cleared through TB test, drug screen, background check
-Must have reliable transportation

Time Commitment:
1 hour on Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Training and Support:
Will receive support and supervision and guidance from Program Manager

Skills/Benefits:
-Practice yoga instruction techniques

Note that classes are held outside, unless there is rain.

Since then SAY has evolved from a single focused organization to what we are today: an agency whose work encompasses more than 30 programs strengthening the whole child, whole family, and whole community.
