Lunch and Learn- Mentoring in Palm Beach County

Bring your lunch and join us! During this orientation, you will hear about us, the two types of programs we have, about how we support our families and mentors, and how to get started. If you are interested in mentoring, there will be a limited amount of interviewers on site to continue the enrollment process or you can schedule it for a later time. If you decide you will not be continuing the process, we are glad you could visit us! All participants will receive a small gift. There is no obligation to sign up as a mentor.

Age requirements: Adults of all ages and high school students are welcome.

Benefits: Orientation, training, and on-going communication with a BBBS Match Support Specialist

Time Commitments: One hour once per week for school mentoring OR 4-6 hours per month for mentoring in the community (adults only)

High school students and college students can earn 3 hours and a certificate of completion.

Volunteering is a fun, convenient and rewarding way to be involved in helping your community. Activities you can do together are to talk, hang out, play games, or help with homework. Our mentoring programs are proven to help shape the future of a child.
