GOTR/STRIDE

The Girls on the Run and STRIDE 5K races are held twice a year; the Axis Physical Therapy Clinic Merry Fitness 5K in early December, and the Marine Chevy Shuffle in mid-May. Both races celebrate the completion of 10 week GOTR and STRIDE programs, welcoming more than 1500 participants, running buddies and community athletes and lots of volunteers to the start line at Jacksonville Commons Elementary School. We need volunteers to help in many different roles, including packet pickup, race village set up and tear down, information and late registration, water station, finisher food and water, medal distribution, course marshal, recycling team.
