The Diaper Need Awareness Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the goals, activities and evaluation of the Diaper Bank of Minnesota’s (DBM) 2017 Diaper Need Awareness Week (DNAW) plan in the 7 county metro area.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate DNAW activities with our 19 partner organizations.
Send and receive DNAW Proclamations to/from Governor and mayors.
Connect with local media outlets to publicize DNAW.
Work with the DBM Marketing Coordinator to identify marketing collateral needs.
Order marketing materials
Ensure partner sites have materials they need for DNAW.
Ensure community members engaged with DNAW activities have materials they need.
Coordinate a Diaper Drop Off event in October for all organizations hosting diaper drives.
Create tracking tools to be used to evaluate DNAW activities.
Provide an evaluation of DNAW activities with recommendations for 2018 DNAW activities.
Send Thank You’s to DNAW sponsors.
- Experience managing a specific marketing program for a non-profit organization
- Up to $1,000 stipend for your efforts
Time Commitment:
April - November
Average 4 hours per week.

The Diaper Bank of Minnesota works with partner agencies to provide diapering supplies to families in need. More than 75,000 babies and toddlers don't have sufficient diapers in Minnesota - the Diaper Bank is working to make sure that every little one has a clean bottom!
