Provide the opportunity for caregivers to run errands, meet a friend for lunch, go to the doctor even take a nap. Our volunteers sit with patients to provide some much needed rest for caregivers. It only takes two hours a week. You can listen to patients concerns. Be a comforting and supportive presence. Watch tv or read a book with the patient. Assist with light househould chores, such as fold a load of laundry.
