Willing to learn? We need a dependable volunteer to work in our hospice office. The ideal candidate will available in the daytime, be reliable and have transportation. Must be able to display a caring attitude and work well with others.
All volunteers receive training in the philosophy of hospice and in the responsibilities and duties of caring for patients and their families. This training includes understanding the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of acute care.
Volunteer will assist hospice team with filing, record keeping, letter/note writing and other tasks as beneficial to office functioning.
