Adopt-A-Park enlists the community's involvement with park maintenance to help maintain a clean park environment for all to enjoy. Tasks may include trash pick up, weeding, raking, sweeping shelters, cleaning picnic tables, mulching and reporting vandalism. Group must agree to a minimum of 4 clean ups per year for a minimum of 1 year and provide a minimum of 10 people for each volunteer workday.

Adopters can also sponsor special projects, such as painting and planting flowers. Some tasks and projects are not available year-round and may be available only at specific parks. Project scheduling can be done at the convenience of the volunteer group, on both weekdays and weekends.

The West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation welcomes new partners interested in keeping our parks clean and thanks them for their commitment to the City. Partners may include, but are not limited to, school groups, church groups, homeowners association members, neighborhood association members, and civic organization members.
