ORGANIZATION: Lupus Society of Illinois

  • 18 people are interested

The Illinois Lupus Walks help spread awareness about lupus by walking for the cause. The Lupus Society of Illinois (LSI) needs volunteers to make phone calls to past Illinois Lupus Walk participants and inform them on the upcoming walks. Other duties may include taking inventory on walk supplies, folding and counting t-shirts and performing general office services.

Lupus is a deadly disease that affects an estimated 1 in 200 people. Events like the lupus walks have helped increase awareness about what lupus is and how it affects certain individuals. The LSI depends on the dedication of our volunteers to succeed. Make a difference in someone’s life and volunteer for the Lupus Society of Illinois today.

If you wish to volunteer for this and/or other positions, please contact Taurean Jackson at taurean@lupusil.org or call him at 312-542-0004.
