Megan

My name is Megan and I am 33 years old. I live in a group home in Sterling and the staff at my home help me to live as independently as possible. I have Cerebral Palsy (CP) so it’s challenging to move about. I use a power wheelchair for mobility and the staff help me to complete my daily activities and learn life skills.

My biggest wish is to work in the community. For me to do this, I will need to find a volunteer who would be willing to help me achieve this goal. My volunteer would need to be trained to help me work in a local store in Dixon. The hours of help needed would be during the daytime and start at about four hours per week.

Please apply if you are interested in this volunteer position. I look forward to reviewing your application and meeting with you soon!
