Lincoln Park Village is a vibrant, inclusive community of adults age 50+ who come together to have fun, make new friends, and support each other. The program strives to support the many members choose to stay in their own homes and neighborhoods as they age.
Volunteer Companion/Driver
Responsibilities include:
Providing door to door transportation for individuals 50+ to ensure they get safety from point A to point B. This can include transportation to/from medical, therapy appointments and errands.
Qualifications/skills:
Patience and desire to support individuals (age 50+) in their community.

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
