Friedman Place is a non-profit supportive living community for blind and visually impaired adults in Chicago. Our building has been designed with the needs of the blind and visually impaired in mind. A full range of services and activities is provided so that residents’ days are healthy, dignified, and stimulating.
Activities and Game/Cards Volunteer
Responsibilities include:
Chaperone and socialize with residents when they go on events (museum, shows)
Spend time with residents playing cards and board games. Teach them your skills!
Flexible time frames available. Let us work wiith your schedule.

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
