The Walzem Family Y Achievers are a part of the 2017 Team Up Challenge sponsored by the San Antonio Spurs Silver & Black Give Back Foundation! We are building and dedicating an urban garden and mural for community members, seniors and those facing challenges with diabetes. Our first community service work day was a success! We are now ready to start our garden.
This Saturday's project is TOP SECRET. Here is a hint...if you love STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and are curious to see how it is changing how we eat...then this mission is for you!!!
Bring your thinking cap and ready to be blown away by the amazing things science can do in the dirt! See you at the garden!
