PLACEMENT PURPOSE
This volunteer role will instruct American Red Cross Disaster/Emergency Services classes to internal Red Cross audiences as well as external community groups throughout our region's/chapter's jurisdiction.
OPEN TIME DAYS
8-20 hours per month.
20-25 hours of initial training.
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends. Must teach one class per calendar year at minimum to remain as an instructor.
REQUIRED TRAINING- Disaster Services Overview
- Disaster Instructor Training (DIST)
- Meet compentencies in training for course being instructed
- Diversity Sensitivity Awareness Training recommended
