PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Help the Red Cross build safer and more resilient communities through various educational programs. Engage in educating diverse audiences, such as Youth, adults, seniors, businesses and other community partners on how to prevent and prepare for emergencies. You can also support the readiness of the Red Cross by acquiring and training our workforce. You can become a certified Disaster Instructor and train workers in service delivery. You can also support logistics activities, such as shelter surveys, inventory, transportation and more.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Minimum 6-12 hours for inital training (online and in-person). ⦆2-6 hour commitment per presentation and/or activity. Additional time maybe required for travel or logistical tasks.⦆
Mimimum engagement of 4 activities per year.⦆
