PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Communicate with government agencies on behalf of the American Red Cross during local and national disasters.
OPEN TIME DAYS
4 - 6 hours per week
This position will be expected to complete the basic training to align with government liaison processes and ｠have a basic understanding of both Red Cross and FEMA subjects, achieved by completing the following Red Cross courses,
• Disaster Services Overview
• Government Operations Fundamentals
• Emergency Operations Center Liaison (self-study)
• Collaborating Essentials
• Sheltering Fundamentals
• Safe & Well Linking
• Disaster Assessment Basics
