PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Staff Services provides the activities and services necessary to ensure the ability of Red Cross staff, including spontaneous volunteers, to meet the needs of the people and communities when disaster strikes. The Local Community Volunteers is responsible for the recruitment, placement, training, processing, assigning and recognition for all volunteers from within the affected area. Creating an organizational structure that will effectively meet the requirements of the relief operation and ensure confidentiality of personnel files and related documents.
OPEN TIME DAYS
* During a disaster anywhere from 8-12 hours a day, maybe be requested to be on-call and available to the Staffing Chief.
* This can be done virtually after hours if needed
