Social engagement volunteers interact with supporters on social platforms, and help to tell the Red Cross story across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Flickr, Instagram, and others.

OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible. Time commitment depends on level of activity and needs of the regional communications department.

  • Orientation to American Red Cross
  • Public Affairs Essentials (Online)
  • Introduction to Red Cross Communications
  • Fundamentals of Disaster Public Affairs, National Response (Webinar).
  • Review of Social Media Handbook and Social Media Basics (online)

After you complete the volunteer application at RedCross.org/Volunteer, a regional representative will reach out to speak to you about specific opportunities in your area and how you can help.
