PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To instruct American Red Cross Disaster classes to internal Red Cross audiences as well as external community groups throughout our region's/chapter's jurisdiction.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends. Must teach one class per calendar year to remain as an instructor.
• Orientation to the American Red Cross
• Disaster Instructor Specialty Training or cross-train over from Health and Safety
• Disaster Services: An Overview (modules one and two)
• Experience in the area that you want to teach classes in (Ex: Experienced at casework to teach Client Casework classes)
• Successful completion of courses that you will teach
• On-the-Job Training
