PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The purpose of Supply is to partner with all areas of the American Red Cross to facilitate and manage the entire supply chain and real estate acquisition lifecycle. Supply is the gatekeeper for goods and logistical services. Supply handles requests for orders and receives, accounts for, distributes and disposes of materials on the relief operation. Supply manages expendable and non-expendable property and materials, but not motor vehicles. Supplies are requested on a Disaster Requisition (F6409). Every request on a relief operation is of equal priority; all requests must be handled in an efficient and expeditious manner.
