ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross of Arizona and New Mexico

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist the Red Cross in delivering its mission to provide relief to victims of disaster and to help prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Within established policies and procedures, assumes responsibility to plan, assess, organize, direct and lead Pillowcase Project activities in the Community under the guidance of the Disaster member.

OPEN TIME DAYS
10 hours a week

REQUIRED TRAINING
• American Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
• Disaster Services: An Overview (optional)
• Home Fire Preparedness Campaign Guidance and Training: Safety for Home Visits, Smoke Alarm Installation, and other required training.
