PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Preparedness interns will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of American Red Cross programs to educate the community in the various lines of service. This intern will help coordinate events as well as manage and deliver presentations to increase the community presence of the American Red Cross. This intern will also work closely with the Disaster Cycle Services Team to communicate with community partners, track project activities and develop new literature in accordance with regional initiatives.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Minimum of 12 hours per week M-F, project-based evening/weekend events⦆
REQUIRED TRAINING- Orientation to the American Red Cross (online)
- Preparedness Intern Workshop (2 hours)
