PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Provide Get To Know Us (GTKU) preparedness education to military families. We prepare families to know what to do when faced with an emergency and provide information about other Red Cross programs and services. Family ID Cards at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) offices and Pre and During Deployment Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) events are used to capture family contact information so Red Cross can follow up with families directly and make sure they have the GTKU information necessary to be prepared.
