PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To raise awareness about international humanitarian law (IHL) among young people and their community.

OPEN TIME DAYS

  • About 25 hours per week; varies according to time of year.
  • Regularly scheduled Team meetings and time required to design and implement IHL Action Campaign.

REQUIRED TRAINING
  • American Red Cross Youth and Young Adult Volunteer Orientation
  • IHL Action Campaign training on IHL, Red Cross, and other international topics
