PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Save lives and prevent injury by being a member of the Home Fire Campaign team. Specific roles could vary, including being a member of Home Visit teams to install smoke alarms and educate residents,conduct neighborhood canvassing, facilitate planning events, and more according to local program needs and structure.
OPEN TIME DAYS
5-10 hours per weekend, once a quarter on average
1. Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview (Required)
2. Everyone's Welcome (Required)
3. Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
Complete all relevant online/in-person training and review all relevant preparedness program materials that are posted on The Exchange.
