PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The American Red Cross - Cascades Region invites College and University students from diverse backgrounds to join us for Academic Service Learning opportunities. Our Service Learning opportunities give students a chance to earn academic credit hours and apply their education and experience to hands-on projects that contribute to the mission of the Red Cross - to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. Academic Service Learners are given real-work experience and are provided guided mentorship.

Varies - hours and scheduleď˝ align with University, College or other academic program requirements to earn credit
REQUIRED TRAININGAll relevant training for volunteer positions is provided, free of charge. ď˝ Students are also able to attend disaster training and health and safety training at no cost.
