We need you! Volunteers provide 100% of our client service delivery through our three pantries in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
Last year, our 6,908 volunteers gave an average of 367 hours per week. That’s more than 19 thousand hours of time committed to helping improve the overall quality of life and restore hope to their neighbors overwhelmed by hunger.
We are in need of a Packer and Sorter every Monday from 12:45pm until 3:15pm for our Pensacola pantry. Packers and Sorters pack grocery bags that are distributed via pantries and specialty programs; restock pantry shelves; and sort food donations. Volunteers are provided a packing list of items to include in the bags, and restocking pantry shelves. Requires ability to stand for periods of time on concrete warehouse floor, mobility to move throughout the two Manna buildings, as well as bending and reaching. Some lifting is required.
If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply online at http://mannahelps.org/participate/volunteer.
