PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Red Cross Club Coordinator serves as the Red Cross unit contact for all clubs and is the person ensuring the link between the clubs and the chapter/station/blood region in which the clubs reside. The coordinator supports and guides the Red Cross clubs in service engagement as well as informs the clubs about opportunities that lay at the local Red Cross unit level.
OPEN TIME DAYS
2-3 hours per week or 10 hours per month, mostly during the first semester of school year
- Orientation to American Red Cross
- American Red Cross Youth and Young Adults Volunteer Orientation
- Volunteer Connection Orientation
- Training session for Club Coordinator, and all necessary resources to work with Red Cross Clubs
