PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist Red Cross in delivering mission by alleviating human suffering caused by disasters.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Commit to regular schedule (e.g. one week per month on rotation) as requested by Disaster Chair and/or Director
REQUIRED TRAINING- Orientation to the American Red Cross
- All training required of a DAT Member (required)
- Disaster Frontline Supervisor Course and Simulation (required)
- Collaborating Fundamentals (required)
- ERV: Ready, Set, Roll (required)
- Fundamentals of Disaster Public Affairs: The Local Response (recommended)
- Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command Liaison (recommended)
- FEMA IS100/FEMA IS200 (recommended)
