We are looking for men and women with a passion to assist nonprofit organizations in their marketing efforts. We are specifically looking for mar-com professionals with over 15 years experience to guide nonprofits in their outreach efforts. The Executive Service Corps is the volunteer arm of the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management at Robert Morris University. Our volunteers are highly skilled professionals or retired individuals who are vetted, trained and become a part of a team dedicated to improving our community. The Bayer Center provides over 90 trainings a year and professional development to over 1000 people. There are over 50 people in the Corps augmenting the work of 10 staff members.

We require significant experience in your field. We receive requests from small, mid-sized nonprofits for assistance in a variety of marketing tasks including marketing planning, branding, social media, and communications strategies. This is not a position for students or recent graduates.

Assignments are given in teams or alone and range from an engagement of 1 hour to to a several month process. Expect to volunteer 2-20 hours a month, but this varies based on need and your schedule, & the location of the nonprofit. You will be asked to fill out a survey of your skills, experience, and availability; and then attend an info session and orientation. We would like a two-year commitment. We provide training, access to our courses free of cost, and occasional volunteer events. (www.bcnm-rmu.org)
