Help support the Briargrove Elementary PTO during one of our largest fundraisers of the year. We need support manning simple fundraising games (ballon pop, ring toss, selling raffle tickets, etc...). The auction will use ipad technolgy to make payment quick and easy. Your support will help us fund things like staff professional development, curriculum enrichment, grounds and building maintenance and improvements, the HPD officers that ensure the safe arrival and departure of our children every day and even the school counselor!

Mission Statement

Almost 60 years ago four dedicated parents came together to form an organization to support a new public school that was being built for our community. The Briargrove Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) was established to create a strong, collaborative partnership between the faculty, staff and parents and to contribute to the education and development of our children as citizens, scholars and leaders in a safe neighborhood environment. All these many years later, Briargrove Elementary is just that - an excellent example of neighborhood only education and a model for parent volunteerism, collaboration and support not only in Houston, but on state and national levels as well. We are one of the most culturally diverse schools in HISD with thirty-seven different languages spoken, which make us a true reflection of the world around us.
