PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Coordinate and manage volunteers who represent the American Red Cross at Community events, agency fairs, and other occasions where people want to learn about the Red Cross, the services we provide, and the ways they can be involved
OPEN TIME DAYS
Require variable amounts of｠time to organize the calendar, respond to requests, and assemble materials.
Varies by the event - generally speaking events last from 2 - 4 hours.｠Community Events volunteers are asked to commit to a shift (usually at least two hours). Factor in travel and set up and/or teardown time of at least one hour to the total.
Note: these events are occasional, but tend to repeat annually.
