PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Information & Planning provides assessment and operational data required for effective management, including information about the scope of the disaster. The Financial & Statistical Information Activity obtains accurate, timely and consistent statistical and financial information.
OPEN TIME DAYS
24 hours to get started then varies depending on major disaster activity or disaster exercises (usually once or twice a year)
To start out (all courses free of charge):
* ｠Orientation to the American Red Cross (online self-study)
* ｠CPR & First Aid (8 hour classroom or 4 hour blended learning)
* ｠Disaster Services: An Overview (4 hour classroom)
To become an Information Dissemination Service Associate (all courses free of
charge):
꽷 Financial & Statistical Information Management 3078 (4 hour classroom or selfstudy)
* ｠Logistics: An Overview (3 hour classroom)
To become a Logistics Facilities Supervisor (all courses free of charge):
* ｠Disaster Frontline Supervisor & Simulation (8 hour classroom)
