PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Develop and organize jurisdictional yearly Training Academy Develop and train Team Members Recruit and develop Instructors through DIST Training Develop Training Centers of Excellence in: Lamar, LaJunta, Pueblo, Chaffee County, Walsenburg, Burlington, and Limon The Regional Disaster Training Lead/Instructor shares the mission of the Red Cross and enhances Colorado/Wyoming Red Cross by delivering disaster preparedness and response instruction in classroom settings to the public sector, private sector, Government and Non-Government Organizations in coordination with the Regional Training Lead, local DPM and instructors certified to perform the necessary activities.
OPEN TIME DAYS
• 2 years, renewable
• Attend training and committee meetings (approximately monthly).
• Availability as required by scope of mission

• Shelter Fundamentals and Simulation • Disaster Frontline Supervisor

• Disaster Instructor Specialty Training
