The American Red Cross is looking for volunteer Blood Donor Ambassadors in Greenwich, CT. It is a great opportunity if you have excellent customer service skills. We need volunteers to help to manage the flow of blood donors into the site, direct them to the next step of the donation process, or provide food and hydration after donation, and options for future donations if they were deferred.
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to display the utmost professionalism and communication skills using diplomacy and tact
- Extremely comfortable working with people from diverse communities and backgrounds
- Comfortable using computer
Time Commitment:
- One blood drive shift per month to remain an active volunteer. A typical 4-5 hours Donor Center shift Monday or Tuesday from 7A-12P
