PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Red Cross Health Services is a nationwide network of thousands of independently-licensed professionals trained to provide support and care to people affected by disasters. Health services workers support the affected community in a variety of settings including shelters, emergency aid stations and home visits by providing health and functional needs assessments, illness and injury surveillance, replacing lost medications and medical equipment, and condolence support.
