PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To instruct American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services classes to internal Red Cross audiences as well as external community groups throughout our region's/chapter's jurisdiction.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends. Must teach one class per calendar year to remain as an instructor.
REQUIRED TRAINING• Orientation to the American Red Cross
• Disaster Instructor Specialty Training or cross-train over from Health and Safety
• Disaster Services: An Overview (modules one and two)
• Experience in the area that you want to teach classes in (Ex: Experienced at casework to teach Client Casework classes)
• Successful completion of courses that you will teach
• On-the-Job Training
