Volunteers needed for Bless the Community Closet
Volunteers will have sort, organize and distribute
clothing, household goods, personal hygiene items
to families in need.
April 1, 2017
10am to 2pm
Pleasantdale Storage, 2370 Pleasantdale Rd, Doraville (Atlanta), GA
Volunteers are asked to bring household goods such as
detergent, bleach, dryer sheets, toilet paper & dishwashing liquid
and personal hygiene items such as deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes,
lotion, shampoo / conditioner, shaving cream, razors etc.
Clients will come to get basic needs for their families.
This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately.

Our goal is to provide supportive services to homeless women and children and partner with the community at large to help better their lives.
Description
Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.
We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..
Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
