ORGANIZATION: LOCAL LIVING

Carpool with international newcomers

New international students can find traveling around Gainesville confusing. Many, who speak English as their second language, don't know any locals and can find it difficult to use public transportation or find rides to places.

As a volunteer for the free ride program, you can help international students from around the world adjust to life in Gainesville. All you have to do is volunteer your time and a vehicle.

We are in need of welcoming and friendly ride assistance volunteers interested in helping others and open to immersing themselves in a new cultural experience.

To show our appreciation, we will gladly sign off on any volunteer forms and will be able to give you an exclusive coupon card that you can use at participating locations for discounts.
