We're a young and ambitious initiative. We have worked hard to build a model where we can rapidly implement Brigid MIXs in communities around the world, without compromising our integrity.
We are in our second location, preparing for a third, and we have volunteers in 5 countries working on our expansion for this summer. It's a great system and we're excited to show you!
My job as chairman of the board is surround myself with people who have skill sets superior to mine. I am a natural leader, hard worker and visionary. I believe giving communities access to more opportunities for healthy, entertaining and insightful cultural exchanges can change the world, so does our team, and you must believe so, if you're a part of our organization.
Translation is much more than knowing both languages, it's a skill acquired through training. The content to be translated ranges from simple activity instructions & trainging manuals to more complicated themes regarding philosophy, permaculture and business modeling, to name a few.
How we work:
We use a very efficient project management platform called Trello, which gives you direct access to a checklist of what projects are active and communicate directly with your team members. When you have time, pick an item off of the checklist and leave a comment that you're taking over that specific duty. If you can't finish, upload what you've been able to do, and someone else can finish it. Or, when you log back in, if it's still there, just continue.
You will report directly to our communications director, via our project management tool.
We will be more than happy to write a thank you & letter & letter of recommendation to compliment your resume/CV in exchange for your help! We have LinkedIn Profiles, you will be able to add our logo directly to your profile.
Typical items on the translation checklist:
The website, marketing materials, training manuals & introduction guides.
We're looking forward to hearing from you!
