2016 TOPS Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade photo

The Tops Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade will be brightening up downtown on 3/11/23!
We are looking for fun-spirited volunteers that are willing to help in any kind of weather in one of these areas: (we have a separate VolunteerMatch opportunity for indoor functions)

Carry A Banner - This is a lot of fun..... banner carriers walk the parade route onetime while carrying our sponsors' banners. You get to wave to the crowd and enjoy the parade atmosphere. The banners are 3' high by 10' wide and are carried on poles by 2-3 people. The picture included is an example of a sponsor banner. We can assign friends and family to the same banner(s). Time commitment: 11:15am-3:00pm.

Parade Marshal - Marshalls oversee a division of marchers. Marshalls need to attend one organizational meeting in early March. Prior parade experience is preferred. 10:30am-3pm

The parade is organized by the Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade committee. We are a non-profit 5013c, and any time spend volunteering with us COUNTS TOWARDS COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!
