We are looking for someone who can manage and improve our existing web site (https://www.auburnravine.org) and make ongoing updates to content on the site.
The work involved with this volunteer opportunity can be done from the volunteer's home.
For ease of communication and interaction we need the volunteer to be located in the
USA in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.
There will be evening meetings every other month, and occasional ad hoc meetings. These can be attended in person, by phone, or on Zoom.
Occasional content updates will be provided by Board Members, and other volunteers.
The ongoing time commitment might only be 1 or 2 hours per week.
The web site is hosted by GoDaddy and uses the WordPress content management system and various plugins. MailChimp is used for broadcast e-mail management.
Near term web site improvements might include Social Media integration, and SEO optimization.

People working together to improve fish and wildlife habitats in the Auburn Ravine and Raccoon Creek watersheds, by collaborating with all stakeholders, and balancing the needs of wildlife and people.
Description
The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to promulgate the science of Reconciliation Ecology to protect and enhance natural habitats throughout the Auburn Ravine watershed and other watersheds in western Placer County and Sutter County in the State of California in such a way that human uses of the landscape can continue, the needs of wildlife and people are balanced, and sustainable solutions are implemented for the benefit of all.
