Volunteer & Internship work in Peru

You will be volunteering in a childcare project that may take place in either an orphanage or other form of childcare facility such as an after school program, community center or shelter.

Healthcare Interns will be placed in "Centros de Salud" or clinics which provide both primary and basic emergency care to low-income families. Clinics receive a large amount of patients every day. Volunteers will be working alongside doctors and nurses, rotating within the different departments of the clinic, such as pediatrics, obstetrics, and general medicine.

Interns in Hospitality will work directly under our Volunteer and Travel Coordinator and will be involved in the inner workings of the entire organization so they will be able to learn all the different pieces that must come together to maintain our succesful and rewarding programs and tours.

Internships and Volunteers are require a minimum 2 weeks commitment. Interns and Volunteers will be responsible for a small administrative fee per week which will be paid in advance. Airport pick-up and a safety and culture orientation will be included. Interns will also be invited to accompany volunteers and travelers on trips and tours.
