Promote quality education and life coaching for the under-privileged children across Africa
Description
Baza Education is a long term foundation initiative of Bazabaza Corporation; a 501(c) 3 charitable organization headquartered in Nashville Tennessee (USA) with branches in Canada, Togo (West Africa) and Benin (West Africa).
The Education initiative was launched in 2012 to help improve Education in Africa through adequate tutoring and financial support to poor and neglected children throughout the continent.
Baza Education takes poor children in Africa off the street and enrolls them into local schools while at the same time providing them with the moral, financial and educational support they need. The current phase of the initiative is focused in the country of Togo in West Africa.
In Togo, currently 10100 Kids are enrolled in this program. In 2013 the program started a scholarships program for 102 poor children for a total value of $10,200.00 to help them start their first year of elementary school.
115 Tutors are currently enrolled in the program and deployed in nine (17) localities .
Baza Education is not just about school education, it also about providing life education through spiritual, moral, health and lifestyle coaching.
All kids involved in our program are in private schools. The overall success rate of our tutoring program is 98%.
