Bear Creek Park is 16.38 acres. This area of the Little North Fork Canyon receives heavy visitor use during the summer months. Bear Creek Park offers direct access to the Little North Fork of the Santiam River with good quality swimming, picnicking, and fishing. The park offers 15 camping sites, each with its own picnic table and fire pit. There are four pipe stands for water, four grey water sumps, two vault toilets, a paved public road and two parking lots. This is an isolated site and the other closest facility is one mile away.
Host duties include interacting with a diverse public, checking in campers and collecting fees, firewood sales, litter pickup, trash removal, restroom cleaning and light trail work. Host will also track and provide user numbers and report area violations to appropriate authorities.
