Help Plan a Prom Event - Group Volunteers Needed!

At Youth Services for Oklahoma County we work to advocate, educate, intervene, and counsel youth and families to make a positive difference in their lives. One of the events we sponsor to serve our clients is a "get ready for prom" event. This is an opportunity for our clients to come and receive all of the items that they need to have a memorable prom experience - from the dress, to the suit, to the makeup, to some snacks while they are finding the perfect prom night outfit.

We are looking for a group of volunteers to help us plan the event including outlining the agenda, coming up with ideas for the event, soliciting donations such as prom dresses and light refreshments, and helping with set-up and tear-down the day of. We anticipate that planning will take no longer than 2 hours a week, as well as the time allotted for the event itself which is currently scheduled for March 25th from 10am - 2pm.
