Help people gain confidence using computers and portable devices! Technology Teachers help people use the Internet, online resources and computer applications on PCs, laptops or portable devices so they can do homework, keep in touch with families, or apply for scholarships or employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology teachers can choose between
* Teaching computer classes using curriculum provided by the library.
* Creating a program to demonstrate new technologies or resources
* Work one on one with people to help them use Microsoft Office applications, create email accounts, apply for scholarships or employment, and format resumes
* Demonstrate how to use electronic resources on a variety of different devices such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and ereaders
