This position will provide the Family Resource Center with support.

The purpose of the Center is to be a space where silence is broken. The Psychiatry Family Resource Center is a safe space for families and friends of mental health patients to connect to resources. Having a space in which families and friends can find information, share stories, and dispel myths about mental illness helps those struggling to support a loved one. The resource center will provide access to information such as: conditions, treatment options, current topics in mental health, local resources, and services available to patients and families. The information provided at the Psychiatry Resource Center is collected by health care professionals to make the search for reliable and accurate information easier.

If you have the interest in interacting with HCMC's patient population, the ability to be proactive and initiate patient conversations also the initiative to find things to do when the Center is slower, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities are: Greeting and tracking visitors, Feed the Fish, Helping guide people to resources, and keeping the area clean.

Special Access: Badge access to Family Resource Center, badge will be provided
